Yankee Rebels Dixie Stinger Indoor Show set

The Yankee Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps will hold the 12th Annual Dixie Stinger Indoor Show on Saturday, April 6, at 6:00 PM at Dundalk Senior High School in Dundalk, Maryland.

The line-up includes a "who's-who" of Northeastern alumni drum corps, including the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni, the Archer-Epler Musketeers, the Reilly Reiders, the Lambertville Volunteers, the American Originals and the host Yankee Rebels. The event will also feature the Audubon "Bon Bons" Alumni Chorus and the "Marching Ravens" -- the official band of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.

Opening this year's Dixie Stinger, the "Bon Bons" will be conducted by World Drum Corps Hall of Famer Bill "Rip" Bernert.

The Archer-Epler "Musketeers" of Upper Darby, PA are still the only corps to win national titles in senior and junior corps.

The extraordinary Caballeros Alumni Corps will display their famous intricate solo horn work and Latin rhythms. The "biggest little" drum corps with a large sound and the distinction of having a history dating back to the 1920's, the Lambertville, NJ Volunteers will perform their new show for this year.

The Reilly Raiders of Willow Grove, PA will not only present a totally revamped repertoire reminiscent of the Emerald Isle, but will also unveil their eye-catching new uniforms at this year's Stinger.

Colonel Truman Crawford, of Marine Drum and Bugle Corps renown, continues to mentor the Rebels. He has written a 2002 book that has that reinvigorating power and patriotism for which the 'Rebs are known.

The American Originals Fife and Drum Corps of Upper Moreland, MD has performed for numerous American presidents and the gigantic Marching Ravens Band is the biggest and arguably the best such organization in the country.
