Hopkins steps down from DCI Executive Committee

Cadets and YEA! Director George Hopkins has stepped down from the DCI Executive Committee.

"The projects we are taking on with Youth Education in the Arts require what time I can locate," Hopkins said. "Additional marching events, and expansion into concert, jazz and percussion are the most demanding efforts. This program, plus attempting to maintain some relationship with friends and family, forced me to make some decisions.

"Indeed, even a fool like me, can see that there is simply no way for me
to do it all. I once learned, 'You can do anything you want, but you cannot do everything you want.'"

Hopkins remains a member of the DCI Board.
