27th Lancers plan reunion banquet

Do you remember . . .

* That first rehearsal at the Americal Center in Wakefield?

* Having the horn valves “freeze up” while waiting to perform at the Sonesta Hotel?

* Dealing with the winter storms or the intense heat of the summer of ’94?

* The “TENT”?

* That amazing evening in August 1994 when together we shook the drum corps world and Foxboro Stadium with the performance of the millennium?

It”s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since that famed night and it’s time for all alumni and friends to gather in festive reunion. The dates have been set for the weekend of November 12, 13, 14, 2004, at the Sheraton Colonial in Wakefield, MA.

Room rates are set at $89.00 and the gala reunion banquet will be held in the hotel’s grand ballroom on Saturday evening. Tickets are priced at $45 per person and a variety of dinner selections will be available that evening, so there is no need to select in advance. Please make checks payable to the “27th Lancers” and mail to:

Or visit the web site — www.27thLancers.net — to order tickets and for a link to the Sheraton Colonial.

My friends, life is too short and it is time once again to renew old friendships and celebrate one of the greatest years in our drum corps history. Please mark your calendars now and join us in November.
