Petrone announces corps for Alumni Spectacular

Drum Corps Associates President Mickey Petrone has announced the 10 corps that will participate in the Alumni Spectacular at the DCA World Championships August 31 at Lackawanna County Stadium in Scranton, PA. These corps represent the history of the drum corps activity and continue to please audiences everywhere.

Participating for 2003 are the Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights from Newark, NJ; Scout House from Preston, ONT, Canada; Yankee Rebels from Baltimore, MD; Royal Airs from Chicago, IL; Skyliners Alumni from New York, NY; Caballeros Alumni from Hawthorne, NJ; Crusaders Senior Alumni from Boston, MA; Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni from LeRoy, NY; Brigadiers Alumni from Syracuse, NY; and the United States Air Force Academy Enlisted Drum and Bugle Corps from Colorado Springs, CO.

The nostalgia and pure entertainment these groups bring to the DCA World Championship each year are fast becoming one of the most popular segments of the championship weekend. No trip to the DCA Championships would be complete without viewing these legendary performances. The Alumni Spectacular will begin at 10:00 AM.
