She will return to the sidelines to take photos for the magazine. Long-time staff member Michael Carlson will be taking over the junior corps column beginning with the June edition. I want to thank Pat for handling this assignment in the past!Between this edition and the one that will be dated June and released on May 31, I am working to feature as many 2018 photos that the staff photographers submitted from last summer as possible. We have such a talented group of individuals who travel across the activity to capture moments in time that can inspire members, alumni, staff, parents and fans. This issue is no exception and there will be more . . .At 134 pages, this issue ties with the largest previous magazine produced last summer (July 2018) and I’m extremely pleased with the wide variety of material from staff and other contributors. This is going to be a GREAT season of drum corps.Keep watching!Steve VickersSupport our advertisersYamaha Corporation of America .......................... 2-3Director’s Showcase International ........................ 4-5KMC Publishing ....................................... 11Band Shoppe ..........................................13 CorpStore ............................................15 Fruhauf Uniforms ...................................... 17 07/10, 07/12, 07/16, 08/02 Colts’ Iowa DCI shows .............19 Schilke Music ..........................................23 Bugles Across America ..................................27Jupiter / Mapex / Quantum / Majestic ......................29 Andalucia Musical Instruments ...........................3306/28 Vista, CA, 06/29 Pasadena, CA, Pacific Crest DCI shows ..35Pageantry Innovations ..................................37 Lone Star Percussion ...................................39FJM, Inc. ............................................. 41Drum Corps United Kingdom .............................45 Pearl Corporation ......................................49 A Wish Come True ..................................... 5105/11 “Explosion in Brass,” Depew, NY, concert ..............5507/03 “Rotary Music Festival,” Cedarburg, WI ................57ChopSaver ...........................................59CrownGolf ............................................63TAMA Percussion ......................................6708/05 “Lake Erie Fanfare,” Erie, PA ........................6907/26 “Music on the Mountain,” Sheffield, PA ................69Drum Corps International ................................73Vater Percussion .......................................75Stanbury Uniforms .....................................77CrownDigital ..........................................7906/22, 06/26, 08/05 Bluecoats’ Ohio and Pennsylvania DCI shows 89Dinkles Shoes .........................................93Key Poulan Music ..................................... 101DeMoulin Bros.
